DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt


Position Summary:

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for keeping the facility clean and running smoothly during shift hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain building interior and exterior, appliances, (kitchen and laundry) and outside grounds. Inside duties include touch up painting, minor electrical and plumbing, determining the need for licensed professional repair when needed.
Clean outside windows and screens when needed, clean windows inside and out in the dining room, and living room.
Mow facility grounds and outdoor pool upkeep, If applicable to location. 
Clean and maintain light fixtures outside and in.
Complete light bulb check at least weekly including turning timers on etc.
Complete perimeter check on a daily basis.
Monitor dumpster to insure adequate service for our needs from the Waste Company.
Empty Smoke shack trash and hose down area once a week.
Spot clean common area carpets as needed.
Maintain client confidentiality at all times (follow HIPAA guidelines).
Provide safe environment for all program participants.
Obey all health and safety policies and procedures of Sunspire Health.
Obey all federal, state and local laws.
Submit accurate and timely personnel information and reporting of hours worked.
Weekend on-call duties.
Other duties as assigned.

Structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Ability to handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

Abilities:
